DESCRIPTION

The Harpoon is a collaboration between Kizer Cutlery and James Buckley of Maverick Customs. This compact fixed blade knife is perfect for everyday carry (EDC) or as a general outdoor utility knife. It features a 3.86" D2 carbon steel blade with a black powder coat. D2 steel is a very popular steel used on knives that can hold a great edge and is easy to sharpen. The harpoon-style blade has a swedge near the tip and a dip on the spine to allow you to rest your thumb or index finger for more intricate, detailed work. The tapered Micarta handle has a finger choil allowing the user to choke up on the knife. The Kydex sheath has two button snaps giving the user ability to strap on his belt or gear.

When placing an order, found that the shipping address was automatically changed. I found out that there is no button to change the delivery address or cancel. Immediately started to write to the support service, but the support service does not work on weekends. So they responded 3 days later when the product had already been shipped. And no one did anything about it. The offer to order another knife slightly cheaper, I consider unacceptable.

"Stupid Sharp"

I watched a review recently when the reviewer said that the Kizer Harpoon was "stupid sharp," and now I know what he meant. It is so sharp it made me feel stupid after nicking myself twice in the first few hours. What a sweet little blade! It's clearly the sharpest in my collection and it feels great in the hand. Love it!

Exactly what is advertised!

First time Kizer buyer, and I have absolutely no poor remarks! Sharp enough to shave with, grippy Micarta designed handles and a sheath for horizontal carry that has high retention without drawing being a challenge. Free stickers was a pleasant surprise. Definitely more purchases from Kizer in the future!

Harpoon

I like the knife, it feels great in the hand and has a good weight. Sharp enough to cut your finger like a razor blade and not feel it. Sheath is lacking though. Would be much better with an option for vertical carry.
